There's a Yoruba proverb that says that " where you will sit when you are old shows where you stood in your youth".
To make sure you stand in great places, we've compiled a list of 5 reasons you should visit the African continent.
1. IT WILL OPEN YOUR EYES AND PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE
How many times have I seen people associate Africa to children suffering from malnutrition, and people lacking basic needs?Africa also means dancing to beautiful music, having respect for our culture, treating one another like brothers and sisters and most importantly enjoying life! Where people see lack of electricity and a TV shared for the whole street, I see bonding, I see preventing waste, and I see a well-developed social network.

2. AFRICA IS A DIVERSE CONTINENT
I was born in Africa. I grew up in Africa. But I still cannot claim that I know everything about my beloved continent. The customs, the ethnical groups, the language, the clothing, the mentality, the food, the climate, the music. I’ve only listed a few items, but everything differs as you go from one city to the next, one region to the next, one tribe to the next, one country to the next; and the best way to experience it, is to go and see for yourself!

3. THERE ARE SOME OF THE WORLD'S MOST BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPES
From the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar, the deserts of Namibia, the white villages of Morocco, the Pyramids of Giza (part of the 7 wonders of the ancient world), whatever you are looking for, you will not be disappointed!

4. THE FOOD IS AMAZING
When you eat chicken, it tastes like chicken. You barely even need other spices for the meat to have some flavor! Our veggies are as organic as it gets – they may look tiny, but they have not been modified, and are the product of traditional agriculture, for the most part. That and the cuisine is just so flavorful!

5. YOU ARE BOUND TO SEE EXTRAORDINARY THINGS
There are so many amazing and unique things you will find on the African continent that words alone cannot describe. You will really need to live it to understand.

And if these 5 reasons were not convincing enough, stay tuned, we have a lot more coming!
